what's yttrium orthovanadate(YVO4) crystal? where's Nd:YVO4(neodymium doped yttrium orthovanadate) single crystal? how to buy yttrium vanadate(YVO4) or GdVO4, Nd:YVO4?

DFNano® supplier of neodymium doped gadolinium orthovanadate(Nd:GdVO4) or Nd:YVO4 crystal; manufacturer of Nd:YVO4(neodymium doped yttrium orthovanadate) single crystal in china.

we supply Nd and no dopant GdVO4 which is a promising material for diode pumped laser. Similar to Nd:YVO4 crystal, Nd:GdVO4 crystal also exhibits high gain, low threshold, and high absorption coefficients at pumping wavelengths, which result from the excellent fit of the neodymium dopant in the crystal lattice.

what is yttrium vanadate(YVO4)?

Yttrium Vanadate (Nd:YVO4) is one of the most efficient laser host crystal currently existing for diode laser-pumped solid-state lasers. Its large stimulated emission cross-section at lasing wavelength, high absorption coefficient and wide absorption bandwidth at pump wavelength, high laser induced damage threshold as well as good physical, optical and mechanical properties make Nd:YVO4 an excellent crystal for high power, stable and cost-effective diode pumped solid-state lasers. Recent developments have shown that Nd:YVO4 can produce powerful and stable IR, green, bule lasers with the design of Nd:YVO4 and frequency doubling crystals.

Compared to Calcite, YVO4 has better temperature stability and physical and mechnical properties. Calcite is hard to obtain high optical quality because of its low susceptibility to moisture and low hardness.

Compared to Rutile (TiO2) which exhibits too high hardness, YVO4 is easier to be handled for optical surface processing that greatly reduces cost of fabrication, especially for batch production.

Compared to LiNbO3, although they have similar mechanical and physical properties, YVO4 has more than three times larger birefringence, that makes your design more compact.
